Hotel Penzance

The Hotel Penzance is a boutique hotel in a stunning location high above the Penzance rooftops looking over the waterfront activity of Penzance harbour and bay. It was converted from two Edwardian merchant's houses in the 1920s to provide a restful stay for discerning guests.

Set in a mediterranean style garden around an outdoor heated pool it is chic, indulgent and comfortable, with 25 individual rooms, it is a superb base for exploring west Cornwall and close to the town centre with all it's amenities including the train station. You can take a direct train to Penzance from London, Bristol, Birmingham, Plymouth, and other destinations "up country". This is the end of the line - you can go no further by train but you can take the local train to St Ives, Truro, and Falmouth, and the bus from place to place around the coast.

The hotel's stylish modern restaurant overlooking the bay and therefore aptly called The Bay has a string of recent accolades - see below. There is a seasonally changing menu with specials added daily taking advantage of immediate availability. This allows the best of local produce at its peak condition... fish from newlyn, meats and dairy produce from local farms, and vegetables and herbs grown especially for us.
